L.A. Girl PRO.coverage!

Hey there fashionistas! So recently I decided to get my hands on the L.A. Girl PRO.coverage, to see what all this hype was all about. Besides the fact that I was hoping to find a new cheap alternative to the foundation that I use on regular bases.

I will also be reviewing the PRO.conceal, because that was also a hyped up product.

First off, sadly this foundation only had a limited range of color, choices weren’t the easiest to match me. I ended up going for the second to lightest shade and I’m never that close to the top of the foundation shade range. I swatched a couple of shades when I was in the store Beauty Bliss to see which one suited me the most and since they all eventually oxidize the shade Fair ended up matching my skin tone.

First impressions of this foundation were that it went on pretty smoothly. There was no instant creasing, the foundation ended up being the perfect color for my skin tone, and the concealers worked really well like a dream.

However, as the day progressed the foundation ended up getting really oily everywhere. The foundation ended up standing up on my face and didn’t even last 5 hours on my face. I ended up powdering my face all throughout the day, and as much as i tried to pad down the creasing around my mouth and nose, nahthing helped. This was with my primer that controlled the oils on my face.

The concealers did actually work well for me, it didn’t crease or melt, like the foundation did, so I am really happy that at least one thing work well for me out of this range.

Overall I think I would have to give this foundation a pass, unfortunately, it didnt work well with my oily/combination skin. As much as id love to keep using this foundation on regular bases, it’s just not gonna do it for me. The concealer, however, I will be revisiting because it works well for me, so that is a definite yes for me.

I wouldn’t recommend this to people with oily skin or dry skin. Just because of my experience with it, and I feel like it might cling on to the dry spots of your skin. I couldn’t be wrong however, let me know if I am.

Well, that’s all for this review, let me know what you think of this foundation and concealer in the comments below if you have tried it, also give this review a like if you enjoyed reading it, until next time – xoxo Fashionista!

Good to know the hype about the concealer exists for a reason, it’s good to see more affordable brands making something that still works well
