The Modern Renaissance!

Hey there fashionistas! that’s right you guessed it, I’m writing about my first impression on this, not so new, but new to me, Modern Renascence palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills.

In case you missed my post on my birthday, the photo below shows the look I did and here is how I got to get this look. I started out with, Raw Sienna as my base color, then I went with Burnt Orange in the crease, to give it that gradient look before going in with Cyprus Umber in the crease also to darken the eyes a little. For the lid, I’m going in with Antique Bronze. It’s that really pretty shimmery pink/bronze color that I have swatched. I know I’m in love with it too. Last but not least I went with the color Vermeer to highlight the inner corners of the eyes and the color Tempera to highlight the browbone.

I’m loving this palette. It has a range of colors that can take you from a natural look to something a bit bolder. It has a mixture of matte and shimmer shades, which is perfect and necessary. However I do wish there was more pigment in the shimmer shades and a little less fall out, That all can be solved by just adding another layer and just brushing away the fallout. The eyeshadows are really easy to work with

The eyeshadows are really easy to work with and very easy to blend out. I had so much fun with this eyeshadow palette. I loved every color because it was unique in its own way. Even better they don’t crease or crack and last a long time, which I’m sure speaks must have to anyone looking for a good eyeshadow palette.

So that’s all for this review, hope you enjoyed reading it. Like always if you have tried this product out yourself, leave a comment down below on what your thoughts are, – xoxo Fashionista!
