NARS Review 1.0!

Hey there fashionistas!! A couple of days ago I brought some NARS foundations to test out and let you know how they stood up for their name! In this post, I’ll be reviewing the NARS all day luminous foundation in the shade Punjab!

It was recommended for combination to oily skin and I am a person that has a really oily t-zone and I was told this would help with the shine a bit more. I paired it up with my Australis fresh powder and flawless in deep natural and high life highlighter, some chi chi concealer in light and medium to get my acne spots, lipstick in shade let me tempt you and a brown eyeliner, a blusher from NYX (which I’m sorry but the name has come off so I can’t say), a 2000 calories maX-factor mascara and of course underneath it all the L’Oréal infallible mattifying base!

At first drop I feel like it was a bit too yellow for my face but lucky for me I have a yellow neck that thanks to the lords of makeup it blended well !!! It was very light as the name says it is and went on smoothly and effortlessly, the end result looked perfect or so I thought….  As the day progressed I felt like even with my mattifying primer it still went really greasy and started to come off my nose around my mouth area places that I have never had that problem with … I think it was because it was a lot more liquefied than I’m usually used to I had to touch up my look about every three hours and that did not help at all with my problem skin. So for this foundation, I would have to give it a miss because it just didn’t last that long with me thankfully I only had a short day at work. I have to give it some credit tho even after using the amount of foundation and face powder I had used that day my makeup came off a lot easier and I needed fewer face wipes then I usually do to clean my makeup off for the night.
That’s all for this review I’ll be posting another one for the other foundation from NARS later on this week!!! – xoxo Fashionista!
